Understanding Your Pet Tag Preview
Published 2026-09-09
A placement preview and a detailed relief preview answer different questions. Check the portrait, lettering and current design version before approving raised details.
The First Preview Helps You Check the Composition
The initial view shows how the selected artwork and lettering sit on the tag model. Use it to look at their relative positions and to decide whether the composition is the one you want.
A portrait displayed on a 3D model is not, by itself, evidence that all the fur, contours and other details have been individually modeled in relief. It is also not a photograph of a manufactured tag. Keep that distinction in mind when comparing a colorful illustration with the later raised design.
Enter and Read Your Own Lettering
Enter the name and phone number yourself; both follow the front edge of the tag.
Check the actual text in the design rather than relying on the name of a file or a contact saved on your phone. Read every letter and digit. Think about the number you want another person to see, and include the intended country code if needed. Do not assume the design will fill in missing contact details for you.
Request the Individual Relief Preview
The first preview shows artwork placement and lettering. Request a detailed relief preview for the individual raised shape and actively approve it after review. Saving changes invalidates the older proof.
This is the point to compare the proposed raised shape with the artwork you selected. Look at the outlines and distinctive features that matter to you. If the preview does not reflect your intended design, keep it unconfirmed while the design is being resolved. Rotating or zooming the initial model does not replace this review.
Review Again After a Saved Change
An approval belongs to the version you reviewed. If you save changes, the older proof is no longer the current approval reference. Check the new version and its detailed preview before actively confirming it.
For example, correcting a phone digit after looking at a preview should lead you to review the updated design again. Do not rely on an earlier screenshot as proof that the current details have been checked.
Understand What Saving and Approving Mean
Pet tags have no price yet. Save your design and request a detailed relief preview; a saved or approved design is not a paid order and does not add to the payment total.
Live purchasing is not open yet. New artwork generation is not available yet. Prices are in USD. Pet tag designs can be saved while pricing is prepared. An approved preview is a design decision; it is not a payment receipt, production photograph or delivery commitment.
