A good photo makes a difference

Choose a clear, well-lit reference photo for recognizable pet artwork.

Keep the details visible

Choose natural light and a sharp photo with the face, ears and distinctive markings visible. For a face-focused portrait, keep the eyes and muzzle easy to see. For full-body artwork, leave room around the ears, tail and paws; a tight face crop does not provide those details. Avoid heavy filters and very small screenshots.

For a portrait together

Use one photo that clearly shows both the person and the pet. Select You & your pet to request both subjects in the artwork.

For more than one pet

Generate separate artworks to give each pet’s individual features a clear reference. The current sticker order uses one selected artwork. Multiple pets in a single generated portrait are not guaranteed.

File requirements

Choose a still JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photo, up to 15 MB and 40 megapixels. Supported HEIC photos are converted on your device before upload. If conversion fails, export a JPG and try again.

Preparing your photo

Choosing a photo uploads a temporary copy so you can continue through the creation steps, including signing in. Temporary uploads expire after six hours. A photo used for a generation is linked to your account. See the privacy page for storage and retention details.

Make the final choice yours

AI artwork can vary from its reference. Check the markings, expression and outline before choosing a result. Our gallery examples show creative possibilities, not a guarantee of the exact result from your photo or photographs of a delivered product.
